August 2025	Unfortunately at this time TAQ is unable to accept online payments due to an unforeseen issue in changing the Payment Gateway. We have our IT people on it and hope to have the issue solved shortly.
November 2023	We launched our new more dynamic site which is more compatible for viewing on mobile devices and an integrated gateway and back end with a leading Australian bank.
July 2023	Tactical Advantage Queensland has now become Tactical Advantage Queensland Pty Ltd. There will be no changes that will affect customers in a negative way. We hope to have a new look website up and running in the coming weeks, and the gateway and merchant facilities will be streamlined under one leading Australian Financial Institution which will allow us to display or full range of products without risk of being impacted by the wokeness and virtue signalling of some institutions.
January 2023	Vertx releases its Generation 3 bags and Packs with some all new options and a revisiting of some favourites.
21/03/2021	Vertx has announced pending release of all new lines of apparel for women, Some new outer layers are now available. New colours available for some Sling Bag and Pack options. 23/03/2020	Due to variations in the Exchange Rate of the Australian Dollar we have had to increase prices on items that we import directly. We apologise for any inconvenience, and will monitor the exchange rate working into the future.
13/03/2020	Vertx have advised that there are some new colours coming out in the Vertx Bag and Pack ranges. These will be up on the site in the coming days.
02/02/2020	It has been brought to our attention that there is a business here in Australia purporting to be a distributor/authorised seller of Vertx bags packs and gloves. They do not have any distribution or sales rights here in Australia and are grey importing the Vertx products they are selling. They have no obligation or loyalty to the Vertx Brand and it would seem that their business ethics may be questionable. The prices they are charging are high for a reason, they do not have the support of Vertx, and we are investigating the situation, Vertx are also attempting to locate the US based company exporting to this business as it is likely they have breached their distribution agreement. There are only 3 authorised distributors in Australia and only TAQ advertises the full range of current Vertx Bags and Packs.
14/01/2020	Our website is back up and running and able to accept payments. Unfortunately to comply with PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy we have had to withdraw our range of Mesa Tactical furniture from the site. These items are still available via email order. We still have the availability to all Mesa Tactical Furniture, except those items that are ATAR prohibited.
06/01/2020	OUR WEBSITE PAYMENT OPTION IS CURRENTLY DOWN DUE TO PAYPAL RESTRICTING OUR ACCOUNT AS IT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THEIR ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY. WE ARE STILL ABLE TO DEAL WITH EMAIL ORDERS THROUGH mark@taq.com.au AND TAKE PAYMENTS VIA CREDIT CARD.

04/10/2017	TAQ is now an authorised Australian Distributor for Accu-Tac Bipods and accessories. The bipods are up, and the muzzle breaks will be up very soon. We've also had some great success with our Vertx bags and packs lately. There is a fantastic special on the VTS5035 Ready Packs in Grey for those who may be in the market.
04/01/2017	There has been some fantastic news from our Leatherman Distributor.... Leatherman are running a Price Harmonisation Project for 12 months which will make Australian Prices more in line with those around the globe. Long story short, it's a big win for your the customer with an average of approximately 20% being knocked off RRP for Leatherman Products. We have already made the appropriate adjustments on the site, and more Leatherman items will be added very soon.

23/12/2015	We have been advised by our suppliers that due to a change in Australian Import Restrictions we are very happy to announce that there will be an extensive change to the level of availability and range of Spyderco and Leatherman folding blade knives available soon.
20/7/2015	TAQ will be exhibiting at the SSAA SHOT Expo in Brisbane on the 22-23/07/2015 at the RNA Showgrounds. Drop by booth 55 and check out the Vertx range of apparel. There will be some fantastic prices available on some products.
7/4/2015	Vertx have advised that some stock is currently being offered at Runout prices and these discounts will last until further advised. Accordingly there are items now quite heavily discounted in the Vertx range. Most of these items are not currently in stock at TAQ and will be ordered on an as required basis, with a first in first served policy. Not all sizes may be available but we will do our best to assist.
17/2/2015	Unfortunately due to the current exchange rate we have had to re-evaluate the prices on our Vertx line. We are hoping that the Dollar will rally at some stage and we can reduce prices accordingly. The TAQ team.
